Organic Lasagna

What You'll Need

1 1/2 pounds organic ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 crushed garlic clove
3 to 4 sliced mushrooms
2 cups cottage cheese
1 egg, beaten
16 ounces organic mozzarella cheese
8 ounce package of organic lasagna noodles
2 of the 6 ounce cans organic tomato paste
28 ounce can organic tomato sauce
1 teaspoon Parsley
Herbamare
Pepper
Oregano, Basil (I use the Organic Italian Herb mix that is available.)

What To Do

Step 1
Cook and rinse the noodles if not already done.
Brown ground beef, with onions, garlic and mushrooms while pasta cooks.

Step 2
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, herbs.

Step 3
Add herbs and seasoning to your taste.

Step 4
Simmer 40 minutes.

Step 5
Combine cottage cheese and egg.

Step 6
Grate mozzarella cheese

Step 7
Arrange layers of the noodles, cottage cheese mixture, sauce and cheese in a baking pan. Be sure to end with a cheese layer on top.

Step 8
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove and let sit for 15 minutes before serving.

Serves 6 to 8.
