Organic Chicken Gravy

You can make an organic chicken gravy easily.

What You'll Need

3 tablespoons flour
1 organic bouillon cube
2 teaspoons Organic Soy Sauce
1-2 tablespoons chicken drippings. Alternatively, chicken bones or skin.
2 cups water
Herbamare
Parsley
Pepper

What You Do

Step 1
First, you need a flavor base. If you have your drippings, put in a sauce pan, add 2 cups water and go to Step 3.

To make the flavor base, place the bones and/or skin in sauce pan with 2 cups water. Add bouillon cube. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 2
Remove the bones and skin and discard.

Step 3
Put the flour in a bowl. Add 1 cup water and whisk.

Step 4
Slowly pour the flour/water mixture into the simmering broth while whisking. The gravy will thicken.

Step 5
Season with Herbamare, pepper and parsley. Add soy sauce for color.

You can make as much gravy as you need with this recipe. Just start with more water. Use the flour/water mixture to thicken to your liking.
