Neurological Disease: Can Healthy Eating Help?

Neurological disease can include a wide range of disorders. Many of these problems may be linked to a little known cause. Aspartame, the well marketed and tested sweetener has penetrated our food supply.

First arriving with FDA approval in 1981. It is now in many of the foods and drinks you regularly purchase.

The cumulative effects of this chemical has effected our health and health care systems. This chemical breaks down into aspartic acid, phenylalanine and methanol. Methanol breaks down further into formaldehyde.

Just so you know, formaldehyde is what is found in embalming fluid. This chemical is digested by the human body then circulates through the entire body. The byproducts then deposit in the tissues and create an array of symptoms.

These symptoms are seen to effect every body system and most notably, neurological disease.

  • Vision problems
  • Headaches to severe migranes
  • behavioral changes
  • emotional difficulties including depression
  • cravings for sweets or products with this chemical additive
  • changes in menstrual cycle
  • severe PMS
  • digestive problems
  • weight loss
  • steady weight gain
  • pains in extremities
  • fatigue
  • apparent MS
  • apparent ALS
  • apparent fibromyalgia
  • difficulty voiding

The FDA has received complaints of 92 different side effects. A staggering amount for a food additive. You have to understand here that we are not talking about a life saving heart drug. We are talking about something put into our food. Who would ever expect to get sick from food?

Without actual neurological disease conditions occurring, medical tests could return with no apparent cause.

My sister suffered sever gastrointestinal difficulties. She had seen specialist after specialist. She experienced nausea for two years straight. Had multiple surgeries. Was heavily medicated for the symptoms. No one could find an actual disease.

Miraculously, she got better when she removed this food additive from her diet. It was the only thing that worked.

Expulsion of the toxins of this chemical allows the body to heal itself. Symptoms of toxicity or neurological disease are in most cases reversed with the removal of the source.

This information has been known since the 80's. But, we are talking about a multi-billion dollar industry.

Back in 1987, I was traveling in Florida. It was at that time I first heard about this danger.

I went into a small health food store. They sold supplements, snacks gum, and small healthy meals.

This store plainly posted by the register and at the entrance a notice that anyone attempting to sell products with aspartame would be banned.

Quite a bold statement. Courageous too!

Children may be the most vulnerable victims. Their smaller body size means less toxin is needed to produce toxicity and resulting neurological disease symptoms.

You wouldn't feed your child anything that would harm them. I know that.

What You Can Do

1. Ban this substance from your home.
2. Help the body recover by taking appropriate supplements (vitamins).
3. Natural health products such as supplements are permitted to contain synthetic compounds and aspartame. Ensure you only use natural source products.
4. Check your child's chewable multi-vitamin.
5. Check your infant's baby formula.
6. Discard any supplements or formula containing aspartame.
7. Regain your health by healthy eating and tell others what changes you made.
8. Choose organic products whenever possible.

Wow! This sure is a lot to comprehend.

You may think that the FDA wouldn't allow this to continue. Or that I just might be, maybe exaggerating.

Alright. Well ask yourself this "Wasn't every drug that was ever pulled from the market, first FDA approved?"

And what about every drug that now has a "black label warning"? Wasn't it FDA approved?

So, you can wait for the FDA to "eat crow" or you can put into action the above plan.

Don't beat yourself up for not knowing this already.
