Organics And Juicing for Health: A Perfect Marriage
Juicing for health is becoming more popular. We are starting to recognize the health benefits of our foods extract. Organics just fits naturally. After all, you are doing it to get all the nutrients you can from the produce. And when you make the produce organic, why you get that much more benefit. Have you ever thought that using your non-organic fruits and vegetables may not be ideal? Why not? Conventional farming has become big business. And with big business the bottom line is 'profits'. So chemicals are used as fertilizers and as pesticides and herbicides. The
dangers of pesticides
are even more pronounced when you juice. And... To make doubly sure of profits, genetically engineered seeds can be used. These
new foods
have genetically altered material in the blueprint of the organism.
But, the organically produced fruits and vegetables are grown in nutrient rich soil. The soil is nutrient rich because the farmers work with the environment and not against it.
This results in nutrient rich plants. So, by getting the extract of organic fruits and vegetables, you are getting the most nutritional benefit. The most value for your healthy eating dollars.
Let me ask you this?
Would you like to squeeze all the contaminants out of your vegies with the food processor or juicer and then drink it?
Probably not!
That's why organics makes a perfect fit. And since the organics have such a high nutrient content, what a great way to get the most out of your fruits and vegetables!
I do juice. I even use the pulp to add to soups or gravies and sauces. You can see me in the photo above using my Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer.
A little tip for you when juicing for health: By adding one fruit to your vegetables, you get a little sweetness and may even get your husband and kids to try it. Try adding a pear to your carrot juice.
