Early Puberty Is Linked To Growth Hormones

Early puberty is a result of hormones being active early. Does this mean our children are healthier than previous generations or is there something else going on here?

Growth hormones in food plays a role in these early changes. Why would anyone put growth hormones in your food?

Well they aren't...

Someone is not injecting your food with hormones.

Alright. Then how did it get there?

Small family farms working in unison with nature have been replaced by industrial farms.

The faster an animal grows, the faster they are ready for market. This results in a faster return on investment for the manufacturer.

Hormones in feed produces a faster turnover for the manufacturer.

Trouble is that the hormones get into the tissues of the animal. Then you eat this meat.

Even if its only trace amounts, it is still there.

The dangers of pesticides include exposure to estrogen-like chemicals. These are not estrogens but mimic them close enough to cause cellular responses.

Now we know that vegetables grown with manure contaminated with antibiotics take up the antibiotics. This can cause an antibiotic reaction by those that are sensitive. If antibiotics can be found in vegetables, would it not stand to reason that growth hormones can also be taken up by vegetables resulting in early puberty?

Have you ever wondered why more and more children are reaching puberty early? The ten or eleven year old girl with breasts. Children taller than previous generations.

Is this all just evolution or is there something else at work here?

Whether or not hormones are the single cause of early puberty or there is a combination effect, the result is the same. My point is that evolution does not produce such a marked change in one generation.

As a mom looking to sensibly change your diet towards healthy eating, buy organic food or even all natural foods whenever you can and fit them into your meal planning.
